Product Returns

Advanced gives customers the manufacturer’s Canadian warranty on all products for faults related to defective materials or workmanship. The warranty begins on the day the item is shipped. The warranty period is whatever is offered by the manufacturer. Products returns under the manufacturer warranty must be dealt by the customer directly with the manufacturer.

It is important you inspect your products as soon as you receive it for any shipping damages. You must contact Advanced immediately (within 48 hrs) to report any shipping damage. Returns due to shipping damage will not be accepted after 48 Hrs has passed as we are unable to verify the damage was caused in shipping.

All items that are sent back to us must be in their original packaging. The item box/packaging must be unmarked and undamaged. You may need to ship the item back in a larger outer carton with bubble wrap or foam packing to prevent shipping damage.

Advanced only accepts returns within 5 business days from date of receipt. Advanced only accepts returns due to a fault with the product. Returns are not accepted if the customer is unhappy with the performance of the product. Advanced cannot be held responsible for product selection by the customer. Any custom products such as Projector Screens are final sale.

Advanced will only accept unopened returns for a refund within 30 days of shipping with a 20% restocking fee. Advanced charges a 35% restocking fee for returns with damaged or marked packaging. We reserve the right to increase this fee if the item is not returned in unopened condition.

All software offered by Advanced is non-refundable and is final sale.

Advanced keeps a world leading database of audio visual product information. Occasionally errors can occur, and we cannot be held responsible for any errors on our website.

Any refunds can only be made to the credit card you paid with after the goods have been inspected by Advanced.

If you purchased your item by wire transfer or check, a refund will be made to the same account after the goods have been inspected by Advanced.

All returns must first be authorised by Advanced. An RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) must be obtained by the customer prior to shipping any item back to us, often you will need to ship the item back to the manufacturer. If you do not have an RMA number and your item is shipped back to us, it is likely your item will automatically go into our recycling program (and no refund will be issued).

Important: This form is not an RMA or authorization to return your product. Please wait for confirmation from us prior to sending your item. Advanced will contact you after receiving your information below. Note that customers have 30 days from the date an RMA number is issued to return their item. Unfortunately after 30 days has passed from the date of issuing an RMA number we cannot accept your return.
